Michael began his Athletic Training career with an Athletic Training Internship at Saddleback Community College as he worked on his Associate's Degree in Kinesiology. He gained a lot of hands-on experience where his love of the profession grew, and the pursuit of Athletic Training continued.
After completing his Associate's Degree, Michael moved to Colorado and began his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training at the University of Northern Colorado. Through his education he worked closely with the D1 athletics (football, wrestling, volleyball, and track and field) as well as the high school level and physical therapy.
